SHAPEWV Fall 2026 Conference
The SHAPEWV 2026 Fall Conference is a full-day, in-person professional development event at The Bridge Sports Complex in Bridgeport, WV, bringing together health, physical education, wellness, recreation, dance, and higher education professionals for hands-on learning, networking, innovative sessions, and practical strategies to support quality instruction and student engagement across West Virginia.

Refund Policy
Cancellations made at least 14 days before the event are eligible for a 75% refund. Cancellations made 10 days before the event will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 10 days before the event.

Conference Presentations
Educators are eager to learn how programs, products, and services can be applied in their classrooms, schools, and districts. If you are interested in presenting, please submit a presentation proposal by Friday September 25, 2026. If the deadline has passed and you are still interested in presenting, please contact Conference Planner, Amanda, at [email protected] to inquire about session availability. Presentation opportunities are limited to registered attendees. SPOTS ARE LIMITED!
Conference Format:
Conference presentation sessions will be held in the morning and afternoon on Friday. The exhibit hall will be open throughout the day during registration and session times. There will be a 10-minute break between each session.
NOTICE:
By registering and attending any SHAPEWV event you signing this waiver and agreeing to the following:
I hereby grant permission to the rights of my image, likeness and sound of my voice as recorded on audio or video tape without payment or any other consideration. I understand that my image may be edited, copied, exhibited, published or distributed and waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein my likeness appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of my image or recording. I also understand that this material may be used in diverse educational settings within an unrestricted geographic area.
Photographic, audio or video recordings may be used for the following purposes:

By registering and attending SHAPEWV events, I understand this permission signifies that photographic or video recordings of me may be electronically displayed via the Internet or in the public educational setting. I will be consulted about the use of the photographs or video recording for any purpose other than those listed above. There is no time limit on the validity of this release nor is there any geographic limitation on where these materials may be distributed.
This release applies to photographic, audio or video recordings collected as part of the sessions listed on this document only.
